Product details
Y8 is the lightest standard high-tensile rebar size on Kenyan sites. Its 8mm diameter bends easily on site, making it the default bar for stirrups and links in beams and columns, and for light mesh-like reinforcement in small slabs and ring beams.
High-tensile deformed bars bond strongly with concrete along their ribbed surface, carrying tensile loads that concrete alone cannot. Specify Y8 for shear reinforcement and light-duty tension zones in residential structures.
