Y12 is a core structural bar for residential construction — used as main reinforcement in beams, doubly-reinforced slab zones, smaller columns and ground beams where the engineer's design calls for 12mm tensile steel.
The deformed rib pattern gives excellent bond strength with concrete, and the 12m length reduces laps and offcuts on typical Kenyan building spans.
